I kind of love how bad this Photo is

This is a testament to how important planning is in street photography and a master class in messing it all up. I wanted to capture the train. I wanted to capture the station. Both are pretty far, getting both in one frame is a fool's errand. Rather than plan separate photos which would involve planning, scouting a different location, or bringing different equipment I decided to just do my best with no planning whatsoever. I didn't know when the train would arrive, I didn't make sure I had a clear view of it. The station is barely in the shot. And because I was impatient I really only had one shot and was at the whim of whoever was walking around. I did my best to compose but was at the whim of fate. I don't have a good composition, there's a lack of a cohesive subject, my frame is filled with people just doing stuff with no story: guy in pink is just looking down, a woman is walking funny and will drop her coffee right after this. It's a busy photo. Maybe it's appropriate though for a busy station.

But next time I'll try to focus a little more and be more intentional
