Happy 30th Birthday Evangelion!

The first episode aired in japan on October 4th 1995. I would eventually see it from a dubbed VHS as part of my highschool's anime club and it has never left my mind. I cannot properly express how much it's been a part of my life. It's redefined the relationship I have with media twice. It's caused me to travel to see real life locations in Hakone and France! I spent 15 years watching and waiting for the four part rebuild series to finish. And so much of the objects in my house and closet are Evangelion themed. It's a series that I've surrounded myself with and it's always lead to interesting places.
